I am sure that one
of the most popular steps to do laundry when someone is in college is to keep
all your dirty clothes in big piles, baskets or bags until the time you are
going to see your parents on the weekend then you should take all those clothes
to the home with you and they get cleaned miraculously.
However, since that
method may not work all the time, here is a beginner’s guide to cleaning your
own laundry.
For doing college
dry cleaning on your own you can start by sorting out your clothes in to three
basic piles; light, dark and red coloured clothes. If you don’t have enough space
for three separate loads you can take the dark pile and then separate it in to
the lightest in to the light pile and then the darkest in with all the reds.
If you still don’t
have enough space for two loads then you can save one of the piles for the next
week, until the time you can run on a full load saving you can save both money
as well as resources.
You will now have
to take your pile and then place it evenly across the clothes washer and then turn
all garments to the right side out and then check the pockets before inserting
them in. Here, exceptions are the clothes with printing, sequins or anything
else that might catch color of another item. These clothes should be washed
inside out.
This whole process
is not that easy as it seems to be in here so if you are not able to pursue
this task on your own you can than you can take a college dry cleaning service
that can do all your work. Most of the college dry cleaning service providers
cater these services at minimal possible prices.
